Well,

I know it will get m laid and trust me once I get some time and money into after a while the only reason I'll need t drive it is to ge laid. My budget is VERY low. That's how I know I can afford a 3rd gen F-body. I saw one in the paper for $675.00 with T-tops nice red paint double white stripe and a V8..can't get any better then that. It was also a 92". BUt now that we got gas down can anyone give me anything else I can use ?

I think I know why HKSCRACKBABY doesn't like V8s.

I can't think of anything that endears 3rd gens to motherly types unless they like the look of the car. They are good-looking and ride on a pretty good platform. They can take a beating and will last a long time if taken care of. Well, maintenance on them isn't too expensive either since parts can be found everywhere for a dime a dozen.

You may try the "this is what I really have my heart set on... pleeeeeeease." method too. That pulls on the motherly heartstrings.

Good luck.

40s?!?! Daaaayyyuum!!

Honestly, I don't know how common it is for a black family but there is definitely nothing wrong with it.

675 for a 92 V8 is super cheap! Is it a Z28 or an RS? or was it a V6 that had an engine swap?

We sold our 91 6 cylinder last year for $2600 (It was in great shape). So if it's decent I'd say it's a deal and a half. Unfortunately for that money it's probably a pile

i think honestly it will be VERY hard to find a running 3rd gen car for under a grand, and if it is, it could be a pile. i personally say wait untill you can put down 2-3K dollars and find something that runs. you know you arent gonna get laid with the ladies (assuming ladies) when your car breaks down. i am sure you are young and have plenty of time to make some cash. be patient or you might be hating yourself when you put a ton of cash into a car that has a less than ideal history.
