Default Almost dropped the Car

I had the car up in the air and I wanted to raise the front another few inches. So i centered the jack underneath the engine and started to jack it up.. I raised both jack stands to the proper height and when i started to ease the car down the jack stand on the passenger front side gave in and the car started to fall to the right but i caught the car with the Jack..
The jack stand was a craftsman and i didntsee anything wrong with it.. I guess when i brought it up to the right height the locking mechanism didnt click in all the way.

But regardless I always have 3 supports when possible whenever im working on the car.. that just reminded me why.

I didnt jack it up by the engine.. underneath the engine man.. Theres a big metal plate undereath the engine to support it, protect it and for me to put my jack under it.

Z, the idea is to NOT kill yourself with the car so that you can enjoy it.
