The Corvette, known as the Vette, a well-known Chevrolet car has been produced through seven generations. The first model, a convertible, was introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953 as a concept show car and paved the way to the Corvette’s long-standing history of a true classic American sports car.

In honor of the Corvette, Old Town will once again host VetteFest on Saturday, October 6, 2018. This special car event now in its 13th year welcomes Corvettes, classic and new, to spend the day showing off their muscle power and shine. Registration begins at 10:00am with a Corvette-only cruise down Old Town’s main street at 3:00pm.
