Think about this for a minute. They didn't want to compete with themselves by developing the Banshee so instead they compete with themselves by developing the Firebird. They could have used the Vette the way they did the Camaro. Use an already proven package and put their spin on it. Or better yet done BOTH! Maybe they'd still be around.
