Default Just ordered my RAM mac daddy clutch :)

In case any one saw me at the spot at Gandy on the flat bed...my old die hard mutt clutch finally gave in. It did good for a mix & match setup...many many 10.7-10.9 second passes on it dumping at 5500 rpm and spraying immediately out of the hole. It consisted of a PP from the Cartek LS1 setup and a SPEC carbon disk. Both pieces were leftovers after horribly expensive failures. The $850 Cartek lasted 4 passes . Anyways...after a last ditch effort i put the two pieces together and wattayaknow...it has held up for over a year to many low 11 and high 10 second passes.

But now I just ordered the Mac Daddy Ram setup with billet flywheel and scintered iron disk. Yes..iron disk...but its supposed to be totally streetable. Got a small breal on price for being a moderator at LS1tech.com too . Cant wait to let that thing fly. God i love spending money on my car

So that was the SS sitting in the median at the G-spot. Glad it wasn't worse trouble. I was wondering when I saw the flatbed.

Yep...took the tranny ou the next day. When the last bolt holding the pressure plate came out..a jumble of springs and metel pieces fell on the floor of my garage. The center section hub came loose from the disc. Also took out the rear main seal and the pilot bearing. Good thing I get GM OEM parts at half price. Got the new seal and pilot bering...just need the clutch now. Hurry up UPS...geez!
