Can anyone delete the vats from the ecm in a 2001 camaro ss
Ive attempted to bypass the system and is resulting in the same problem.

By deleting the vats program from the ecm will this vats system be completely terminated??

try summit, i believe they have a vats elimination kit

 

yes if you find someone that tunes cars, they can disable the vats in the ecm.


i don't know about your year but the older ones, you could just read the ohm of the resistor in the key and then cut the wires going to the ign and put the same value resistor in there.
