Default question bout the 3.8 bottom end

is their a differance between the 3.8 non supercharged bottom end and the 3.8 supercharged bottom end besides the price? out of a 2000 pontiac grand prix

L36 is 9.4:1 compression, L67s are 8.5:1 compression.

The L67 rods are beefier then the L36 rods but these motors hold well under good power. Usually the first thing to go are the pistons from detonation.

another quick question how much can the tranny hold till itll start breaking i have the L36 motor

And you have a camaro, with RWD, a 4L60E or T56 transmission, and a 7-5/8 rear end, he has a front wheel drive grand prix, with a 4T65 transaxle. Two very different things.

lol but about how many horses can my tanny hold till i start running the risk of stuff breaking im lookin at 300 at the crank after my turbo kits on
