Default 03 corvette tire pressure monitors

Is there a problem running a wheel with no tire pressure monitors? I have heard that it would put the car into "limp" mode. What problems will I run into by running wheels w/ no TPM? Thanks

Your fine. There is a place that replaces the battery in your old ones if you want the cheap route.
