Camaro 2000 Z28 Electronic Break Control Module is now dead!!! Help!!!
Hey guys, I need you're help once again. My electronic break control module is now dead. I had a shop perform a computer diagnostics test under the dashboard. I now have to find a way to replace the part and I sure won't be buying the part new from GM. I've done alot of research on the parts I've been looking for and just wanted some extra support and insight from the forums before I buy anything to replace the defective part. From my understanding the part number is an ACDELCO part number 12453253 This part number includes the traction control feature. I know someone whom is welling to sell the part used to me and sent me the below pictures. Can anyone confirm to me that the following pictures are infact, the following... 93-02 Chevy Camaro Firebird ABS Pump, Computer & Module???? with Electronic traction control???? The guys said it was for all 93-02 Chevy Camaro Firebird and included the ABS Pump, Computer & Module. He also told me it was pulled from a 97 Z28 with the 6 speed locking rear-end 4 wheel abs with traction control. Again, any help or advice will go along ways...thank you!

Well, this part won't work on my 2000 Camaro. I can only use EBCM from 99-02 To make this request simple, Does anyone know where I can buy a good used EBCM for a 2000 Camaro 5.7L V8 EBCM stands for
Electronic Break Control Module!!!!
I guess if you're non-responsive then you just won't have a clue. I've been doing alot of research and I sure the hell will not pay the dealership $1,000's for this part. I know there's got to be solid resource for this item some where out there.

Yes, I also had "Just Brakes" run their ABS break code diagnostics check on my car and it reported the following codes.
C0896 - Device Performance range voltage
C0550 - ECU or EBCM which are the same thing I think
So what should we do next?

But go check it out.. it's a MUCH better forum when you really need answers/advice.

There isn't much help on TR in GM Tech because most people have come to the same realization you have. There is no one on TR to help you unless you have a question about Vtech, SR20's, or crank walk. Also, please learn to spell. Have a nice day.
