replacement of the sensor, and clearing the code... no more than 1.5 hours in labor, and whatever the sensor costs.. Don't go with aftermarket.

Okay, the GM master tech said because I added the SLP Performance cold air-induction system that the ABS system is getting an abnormal reading. The next day I went back to him and he hooked up his notebook pc under my dashboard and ran a program called HP Tuner. He did a small adjustment and the warning lights did end up shutting off. They ended up coming back on and now I will have to return back to the GM tech just so he can adjust it again so that the ABS break system doesn't read off the chart data and confuse it's self with more pop up dash board alerts just because the car is getting more air. Such as recent.... ASR OFF, Break, ABS INOP. I'm not having any hardware failure but I want to make sure I get rid of those pop-up dashboard alerts that keeps making me wonder if somethings really wrong here.

Sounds like he is blowing smoe up your ass. I have never heard that in my life... Doesn't mean it's not happening. But i have never heard an intake screwing with your ABS.. Sounds like he just cleared your active DTC's, and waited for them to come back on again. But like i said, never heard of it.

Exactly! I'm going to take it to another shop and get some direction. It just doesn't make any since when thrown into the equation......

ask your tech how the hell the abs is getting an abnormal reading from a different cold air intake? It is impossible as they are two completely different systems. I bet he went into hp tuners to try and disable that light not actually fix the problem. What is the name of your tech/shop so we know never to go there.

Yep sounds like he just cleared the codes, and then they came back on. You can't disable the ABS codes, so there's no way he could have done it anyway... There's something wrong with it mechanically..
