i have a lt1 in a 97 ta 100k runs good i cant rember if the opti plug is the same though i know the manfolds are different but this would be a good up grade away from the style opti i want 650 for the motor you can still hear it run i am removing it from the can in the next couple of days

you could always get the summit rebuild kit for around 400-500 bucks and do a 355 while retaining stock crank/rods or upgrade the rods for some eagle h-beams

k-5 blazer? u might be talking about a diff pic.. but if its my sig ur talking about... its a toyota 4runner... and an 87 chevy... toyota sold for 1k. about 5 months ago... but the chevy is still for sale...

looks like a k-5 blazer to me but all i see is the nose .Might just be a truck .Just wanted to know how much /

that was at my fathers house... so ill have to ask him.. i dont know how much but i do know some specs.. 38" tires.. i believe like 8" suspension lift and 4" body... no engine in it... new seat... has tranny.. xfer case and 4.11 in both rear and front... once i find out some more stuff ill pm u the info.. i should know by the 19th...and i think its a half ton pick up... def no blazer though...

sounds like the mileage is pretty far up there but most likely you could get away with putting an oil pump on it and continue to drive it for a while. Not to mention that the pickups are notorious for falling off and causing the same symptom. Now, if the car is smoking and burning allot of oil then it's time for a rebuild. Low oil pressure is not necessarily a sign of it being time for a rebuild.
