Default motor not running right

we have a 89 camaro that we just put a motor together for,it was an rs so had the stock 305,the motor in it is a 350 roller with the 305 heads, computer, and efi system,it sounds like it's taking in too much air and runs pretty rough until you have it running for about 10 minutes and then it levels out,any ideas of what it could be or does it just need to be tuned.

Lots of problems will be had with that 305 computer in there. All kinds of tuning issues can occur. I would be looking for a 350 ECM to match the year the rest of the 350 is.

Wow.. to start you may want to find a good set of 350 heads, that could be alot of your problem.

Just rip off the FI and go carb and HEI Dizzy and all your problems will be solved. I built this same motor with the 305 Vortec heads and made 330 HP. It can be done.
