turbo 350 to turbo 400 swap

Default turbo 350 to turbo 400 swap

my coworker has an old chevy truck it has a t350 and wants to put a t400 in. the thing im wondering is any modifications have to be made ,and if the driveshaft has to be shortend thanks

i think there the same housing. the only difference is that the t400 has stronger internals. most t350's are bolted to small blocks while t400's are bolted to big blocks.

t400 is longer - so driveshaft shortened and trans mount will have to moved

depends on the TH350 he is using. they have different tail shaft lengths.
