Default Bilding a new toy need a few questions answered.

I Have a 99 Firebird iam buying a 402 short block,was going to buy heads but i wanted to know if my stock heads will fit the block,i know thay will but do i need new push rods is the thing and i need new lifter trays,other than the push rods that should be it right? well thats why iam asking you guys,thanks alot for the help

need a bit more details to help you but im assuming that your like a lot of ls1 owners and are going lq4 402 stroker.. if so the ls1 heads will fit but depending on just how much of a toy this is you may want something more agressive for your motor

Yes,that is that way iam going,Ls2 Alum. 402 but i plan on getting better heads later on,but what do you mean a 402 should be a half way nice street/strip car i was thinking?
