I have a 92 camaro currently with a 305 with a spun rod bearing.... i want to go to a 350.. but really cant figure out if i want to keep the computer or not.... i need some suggestions on whether to keep it or not and what would i need to buy... what would i have to find a 350 out of or somethin like that to get this project rollin.... thank u much for the help... just lookin for suggestions nobody i know can seriously point me in the right direction....

tpi I'd debate more and look at your budget, if it allows it I'd retain the computer, swap out the tpi intake with an lt1 intake and remote thermostat, and do h/c 350

 

it was tbi 305 i want to put a carb 350 in it i need to know what i need to buy or what i should be looking at... i want to get away from fuel injection.... thanx for the input look forward to hearing back from u thanks this is my buddys name but still the same person...

 

I'd only consider sticking to fuel injection at all if it was tpi, tbi is a waste imo

Carb that shit! Computers are the devil. You can get a nice crate 350 motor for under $2000.

 

Make sure to get a non computer distrubitor too..

 

well guys im lovin all the feedback and i appreciate it just start chimin in when u guys find stuff for sale that is reasonable i dont have a big budget to start but im hopin work will pick up soon and ill have more money.... im really on the lookout for some 4th gen ss wheels and/or maybe some 4th gen leather interior ive seen that in a third gen and that stuff was real nice... only black tho.... looking forward to some more feedback thanx guys.
