Possible bad 02 sensor? SS Camaro
2000 SS- get the following codes:
P0121- Throttle Position Sensor A Circuit, Range Performance (going to replace tps today)
P0134- O2S Circuit, Bank 1-Sensor 2, No activity detected (bad?)
P0155- O2S Heater Circuit, Bank2- Sensor 1, Malfunction (bad?)
P0300- Random-Multiple Cyl. Misfire Detected (probably due to cam)
P1637- Generator-L-Terminal Ckt. (dunno???)
My car idles just fine, stutters/bogs like a bitch when I accelerate out of any gear.
swapped out the TPS which was easy as hell, unfortunately it didnt work.
Monitoring the data, at idle, the mV for the 02 is as follows:
Bank1- Sensor 2- 700-850mV
Bank2- Sensor 1- 700-850mV
When I hit the gas, they go down to:
Bank1- Sensor 2- 0mV
Bank2- Sensor 1- 0-50mV
I'm guessing its time to replace o2's?
Any special tools needed? Can someone like me with limited knowledge possibly do this?
Also I've read where it was recommended to use Corvette 02's since they are "longer" ???

If you have a cam, then you need a tune. O2s are easy to change. Just need a cresent wrench. Just unplug the connector and turn with wrench... that easy..
At idle, the Os2 should bounce between like .300 and .900. They arent steady. Youll only get a steady reading in WOT.

I have a cam and thats why I think the misfire code is occuring(no biggie). I had the car tuned using a predator handheld(maybe over a year ago?) and I can hook it up to the car while I'm driving(or idle) to see the stats. I've just never changed out the O2's and didnt want to do that if the problem was something else.
Thanks for the reply.
I'll change out the O2's this weekend and hopefully that will fix everything.

I don't know exactly, but if its Bank 1 Sensor 2, isnt that Post Cat? I would just get 02 sims for the back

It was done on a dyno using the predator
I heard that since the mV are going down to zero on throttle that it could be running lean meaning a fuel problem?!?! This blows!

Well, replacing the o2's was easier than I had imagined. And to my surprise, the problem is actually fixed!
Now keeping the car clean of that crappy pollen is a whole nother issue!

What kind of O2's did you end up installing, Delco, Bosch, etc.? I recently installed a set of Bosch ones in my LT1 and now they are giving me :
1)PO133=CKT slow response (bank 1 sensor1)
2)PO153=CKT slow response (bank 2 sensor 1)
3)P1133=O2 sensor transit. time ratio (bank 1 sensor 1)
4)P1153=HO2S insufficient switching (bank 2 sensor 1)
Come to read afterwards on CZ28.com that Bosch sensors are hit or miss in terms of quality for LT1's, hopefully they are fine for your LS1, if that's what you got. Now I just gotta find some decently priced Delco O2's.
