Default 98 camaro
posting for a friend,im wanting to know what kinda of tranny came in a 98 camaro 3.8,i think it's a 700-R4 not sure though.

Should be the 4l60e, they stopped the 4l60 (700r4) in 93 I believe

You can check out the for sale forums at LS1Tech.com , LS1.com , LS2.com and ebay. Rebuilt ones go pretty cheap on Ebay.
