what procharger?

and losing boost doesn't sound like belt slip or boost leak to me. I've had both with mine and all it did was make less boost and hold it all the way thru, not lose up top.

not to go off topic but seriously scrap your supercharge a 4.3 s-10 plan especially if you plan on using the powerdyne kit. I've intalled kits on 2 trucks and the best they got was 14.91.. its really not worth it atleast with the pos powerdyne.

You could eliminate a boost leak by pressurizing your intake with an air compressor.

we did the soapy water test on all the hoses and clamps....replacing the black hoses with a "better" blue hose... we also have a 2.65 pulley we are waiting to install...if we instal it it voids the blower warranty... we are making sure its not the blower first. we also burt the plug wire boot on #1 cyclinder...

would a 2 1/2 in exhaust restrict too much exiting exhaust?.. maybe it would some how effect the air/fuel ratio? my thinking is we're trying to suck in more air then we can push out and maybe thats why we cant get good boost.. its not falling off down low in the rpm its up high(5,000rpm) where i think the exhaust just cant keep up with the amount of air coming in so we get little/no boost increase?

its just a thought cause at this point i'm running out of things that may be wrong...

we have a custom made 3 1/2 w/ a 5inch X pipe that will be going on this week, along with a cog belt system that will handle 16psi before it slips

well...my biggest question is...why was all the timing taken out?

2nd is, why are you using a cog pulley setup? your going to hate trying to keep it all aligned.

3rd is, cog pulleys dont slip so what is this 16psi slipping thing? if anything they jump teeth and when that happens it usually tosses the belt.

That won't affect your boost. The reason boost is falling off in the upper RPM's is because the blower isn't able to keep up with the air demands of the motor. Its able to at lower RPM's because the air requirements are less at lower boost and lower RPM's. You're simply out of air with that pulley.
that was the exhaust system that was on the car before we decided to go crazy....we have a new one its just not on the car

1.why they took the timing out is out of my hands...maybe to protect the motor it has literally 150miles on it and maybe 20miles with the 42lb injectors

2. well the cog belt i believe is going to be better for our set up, we're aiming for 12-14 psi and procharger told us that thier belt will most likely not handle our demands, this car is just as much street as it is race it needs to be as trouble free as it can.

3. as for tossing the belt, shit happens i cant predict that it will toss it but i know the original belt will not do
