Question solid axles rear in a vette

ok i found a good deal on a vette and i'm thinking about making it my new drag car,now the only problem is the rear end.i was wondering if some one made a solid axle rear that would bolt right into the vette.like a ford 9in or a 12 bolt.i like stock suspension style drag racing and we have to use stock mounting locations.so i was just wondering if anyone new of a company that would put or make all the brackets where i could just mount it right into the vette.its a 86 corvette i'm looking into getting.i will say i dont know much about vettes.so dont try and bash me on this.but either way its a good idea.

check the corvette forum. i am almost sure they would have to have something like that out. check the c4 section and ask around. I know a couple guys have put solid rears in their c5. Not sure on how eay of a bolt in it is though. Let me know what you find out. Id be interested in knowing as well.

PaulZ06 on the CF has a solid rear. I dont remember the post, but do a search. He made a huge post about his setup when he got into the 8's...
