Default 1700hp ls1 using a truck block.

i just got done reading the article in engine masters that came with the hot rodding mag i just got.and they got 1700hp out a ls1 with afr heads using a ls1 truck block the only put a main gurdle on it had custom made arp studs put into the block to handle the boost levels and redine the oil passinges, engine makes this insane amount of power using twin 80mm turbos.if i had a scanner i would scan the whole build onto here so u guys could read it for free.the fucked up part is the did this using all spare parts they had sitting around the w2w shop.they are looking to be the first ls1 into the 6second range.it just so happens mike moran walked into there shop an heard them talking about it and one of the shop memebers were like now we just need a chassis..and what did they get the next day at the shops front door mike morans camaro named casper this car is famous it was one of the fastest pro street cars in the usa for the longest time.it even still had the 650ci nos powerd bigblock in the car when it showed up.so the put the engine in the car and had mike moran tunning the chassis on the car it has gone 7.80s so fair going down the track sideways.on one run the w2w said they never thought they would see both the doors on the car while it was on the backhalf of the track.if u want one of this 1700hp monster go to www.w2wpowertrain.com

if u guys find anything more about this setup please post it or links

That car and engine has now gone high 6's at well over 200 mph. The heads are nothing special and the block can be had for about $300 used to $695 for a brand new one. Its only 352 ci.

That car is bad ass.
