i have a 98 monte carlo and wanted to put a different motor and tranny is there any shops to do the work or would it be better to just beef up the 6cyl i just bought it and wanan replace it and have a sleeper car any info as prices or w/e will help thank you

 

drop an LS6 Crate Motor in it =P. If you do an old style 350 SBC with carb, than it wont be hard, just move the motor mounts.

...why dont you just go buy a monte SS, the super six one? or how about a rwd car. sounds like your wanting to spend a fortune to be able to run 14's.

 

 

Assuming you have a 3800 Series 2 engine, you may want to consider going with a turbo kit.
