Default 3rd link vs decoupled t/a

know this is a more drag race deep discussion topic, but does anyone here have any experience with either? and no, your tranny t/a mount breaking doesnt qualify.

my biggest question is which is good for a track oriented car, that is driven on the street maybe 5 days a month. from what i understand, a de-coup will provide much more antisquat (say 120%+ area), but not as much antilift as a 3rd link. i mean, i dont want to roll to a light, or have to get on the brakes hard and start jumping around like a mexican jumping bean.

more specifically, i was looking at unbalancedengineering's t/a setup, since it uses a sliding brake link, which they say imitates a twice than oem length t/a to dissipate wheel hop.

Kenny, what are you ultimately trying to do that you don't think a TA will do the job for?

im not saying im getting rid of the t/a, but from what im understanding, a decoupled t/a is more beneficial, as it has freer travel and like i said, provide much more anti-squat.
