yeah gtps are pretty sick.... now that would help this guy out alot if 99 firebirds came with a supercharger like the gtps but they dont....
the argument we are making is that the V6 engine this guy is talking about (L36) modding is worthless. it does not come with a supercharger, it does not come with 6 bolt mains, it does not come with forged internals... in fact it comes with very little that the L67 has.. if this forum was called "i just bought a GN or GTP, how do i make it faster" we would not be in here saying aww jump on the ls1 bandwagon...
now in your post you say this,

well buddy no one ever said anything bad about the L67, just the L36.. you didnt say anything supportive about the L36 in your post either so i dont know why this stings your vagina so much..

anyways back on topic... the L36 sucks and everyone seems to agree so IBTL!

I think he could easly get 350 or more hp form that stock L36, there are a lot of turbo L36 Grand Prixs going into the low 13s or 12s

and all we are saying is that it would be cheaper to do it with a different engine... personally i wouldnt want to spend 20k to get my v6 to run what my v8 runs after about 2k in mods...

How would he brake the mold if hes doing something you told us other people have already done. Show me a v6 like you are talking about that can keep up with an ls1 and I'll show you someone who can't drive an ls1. LS1's have hit low 13's/high 12's bone stock.

Why spend all the money to swap in a l67 motor when he could do it cheaper with a ls1 and have so much more potential it's not even funny.
