i already have flows and k&n...im waiting on my throttle body spacer and new headers....theres is nothing else that i can find to increase hp other than turbo, supercharger, or a nos and i really dont want to do those because they can be costly

well you dont want to pull the motor on that to get it rubuilt but as of what ur trying to do its about the only way it should cost you almost 2000 to get it rebuilt bored 60over cam and just about everything else i know this because mybro has a 94 s10blazer with a 4.3 vortec in it he got his done and it cost him around 2000 at first but then ur gonna need other parts because stock wont really work on it so 100 shot is about the best way for you to go if you dont like the hassel of a rebuild

if I had an s10 I'd just do an lt1 swap, lot cheaper in the long run

if hes putting a spacer in the throttle body, its tbi. best upgrades are exhaust and roller rockers. easiest cheapest power.. n20 its not worth your time to rebuild unless you plan on dumping about 2k or more into it. trust me.. im at about 1500 and i have another 1500 to go till im running 13's

well the lt1 swap could be trouble for him because there is like no room at all as it is in the 4.3vortect s10 blazers my bro has one and well its got no room as it is in there and with the lt1 motor he might need a new rear end in it well if he plans on keeping it stock then the stock rear end might work for it

the lt1 is just a bout 6 inches longer in the front.. take out the clutch fan and put in an efan and there you go.. it fits the same. motor swaps are a pain.. not to mention he has an electronic tranny so you would have to have a way to controll that with the new motor imput or put an older tranny, ie 700r4 in it. just spray and call it a day, you will get high 13's out of it
