red turbo 4th gen in Tampa?
 

Coming out of HCC Dale Mabry last night, I thought I heard a dump truck running down DM. As I walked closer to my truck, I looked up and saw a red 4th gen on welds come to the light and I thought "wouldn't it be cool if that was what was making all the noise". Sure enough when he left the light (slowly), I could hear an open exhaust and a hell of a scream. I was wondering if it was a Vortech, but you could really hear it whine on decel between shifts, which a Vortech usually doesn't do. Anyone know of a red turbo 4th gen around here? It sounded pretty f'ing sweet no matter what.

only time you'll hear a vortech is when its idling, or it has some BOV to make noise. as for turbo 4G's..was it an LT1 or LS1?

I was too far away to see if it was an LS1 or LT1. It was a TA though, and not a Camaro.
