Default Power Programmer ?

Ive just recently picked up the Hypertech Programmer but im not to sure if i can run the power tune w/o the 160 degree thermostat. I noticed on the manual it stressed 93 octane and a 160 thermostat. Is this save to run if i dont have the stat but i have the gas. Other than that ive done my custom tune and i am not running the power tune

I wouldnt have bought the Hyper tech for the power tune. That thing is crap in a box.

Its good for adjusting fans and gear ratios, but thats about it.
