Fbody keys
If you lose the door key on a 94 fbody, how can you get a new one?
I just bought one that doesn't have the alarm, and I received three keys with it. One of them is the chipped key for the ignition, the other dont work on anything, not even the t tops. So I got screwed on that one, but i'm hoping its cheap.
Thanks

like above, u have to go to GM and provide them your VIN to get another door key. there are only two keys tho, the ignition key, and the door key, which opens everything, doors, trunk, and t-tops.

MYLTWON: Thats funny I got the same thing you have, a 94 Trans Am Gt with the spoiler. Black/black leather int. t tops, 6 speed, the works.
Yeah it was weird I posted this at work< Sears, Shoe Dept.>And after my break, I went out on the floor. And a mechanic from the local chevy dealership was buying work boots. So I asked him and he said bring in proof of ownership, and vin and it should cost like 10 bucks.
Thanks

I recently lost the ignition key to my 88 Camaro(no computer chip) and went to the dealer and got a new one for $6. You just need the title and some form of government issued ID. The door key should be the same amount.
