Quick Question- I went to Maher Chevrolet today and had them mount 555R's. The only problem is they ordered the wrong tires. I have 555 Extremes on the car. Can somebody tell me what the difference is here?

 

I dont think the 555 Extreme is a drag radial. Completely different tire.

Yup.. The Extreme is a cool lookin tire.. probably something you'd run up front w/ the drag radials in back.

 

Well Maher is going to fix the problem, free of charge. Dammit! I gave those fuckers 477.00 to get it done and they took 3 hours to mount the damn things and they couldn't even get it right. They said that I could keep the Extremes. So I should put them on the front?

 

1) Get a Camera and a friend.

2) Do lengthy, multiple burnouts for the camera.

3) Post up the video.

4) Go to Maher and tell them you dont want them anymore.

1, if you paid 477 for those to be mounted and balanced, you got raped.
2, you paid 477 for the wrong tires!
3, max amount for those should be 340 mounted and balanced.

Hopefully, they did something more than just two -wrong- tires?

I got raped. They charge an asswod for everything there. I just need to get the ball rolling on this stuff ASAP. Corey, that is the only thing that has made me laugh all day. I appreciate it. Boy was I suprised when I got in the car and did a little burning and then did a jump from a dead stop. That stall just doesn't help the street tires. I held the brake, let it rip at 3-3200 rpms and fricken went sideways. I was LIVID! Even after I caught traction and went into second, I went sideways. I am boycotting that damn place. By the way, I saw a black ZO6 with a black wing on the back up on a lift while I was there. Anyone know who that belongs to?

I could of got you them for about 325-375 mounted and balanced Matters when you wanted to buy them. Next time zac ask me lol
