Question 95 Grand Prix: Water leak

In my 95 Pontiac GP Spec Ed, I noticed pool of water in the spare tire area. I don't know how long the water was sitting there, but it seems like for a long time since the original jack got so rusted that I had to replace it with an other one. Luckly it only cost me $10 at the local auto salvage. I've managed to trace the leak and I think its coming from the screws attaching the spoiler to the trunk. For those of you with a 94 - 96 model year GP, have any of you had this happen?
If so, where did your leak originate and how did you fix it?
Thanks for your input.
