tranny Prob HELP!!!!!

Default tranny Prob HELP!!!!!

ok my car started acting up and was no going into second gear it would just stick in first and will bearly go any were. and i would loose reverse. so now i drained all the fluid did not see any metal pieces but the tranny fluid was pretty gunky so i replaced it with fresh fluid, and put a new filter on. test the car out and it is still not shifting into second. so what could be some probs do i need a new tranny or a new torque converter help me out please.

oh sorry its a 97 saturn automatic i am not sure what the tranny type is i belive mp2 something like that

does it shift at all once its warmed up after about 20 minutes or so?

actually when i first start the car it will shift fine but over the course of a few mins it will start to not shift into gear. all i will have is first gear.

It happened to my hot rod camaro, and my 81 scottsdale!

costs big ones!
