they werent stock, they were 918's i think..........

Yes it was forged.. When a valve drops in the motor that is all she wrote. Forged or not, it is going bye bye.. There is no bullet proof motor.

well i will say that so many of the fast streetable cars were the 346" forged type motors. there were a bunch of 9.9-10.1 nitrous 346" combo. i talked to tony whately (9-ball) over the shootout and he said if were to build a car for drag racing he would go 346. kinda says something considering how close he is to the MTI crew. also the sleaves i am not sold on still. either way there are so many ways to go fast with an ls1. i will stick with a 346 hydro cam myself.

Who needs big cubes or iron when Big Mike just ran a 9.40 on his 346" ls1 block... Albeit about 50rwhp less that's the route I took this time, we'll see...

But Joey you don't need the TQ boost as much as Vince. Look how much weight he has to get moving. Vince needs the big cubes.
