Default FS: 96 Firebird Formula - 1100 bucks!

Name: David Lee
Location: Brandon, FL 33510
Contact: email - leenet@tampabay.rr.com, or phone 813-892-7215 (text is quicker for me to answer)
Payment: Cash or MO
Price $800 OBO

Item: 96 Firebird Formula (homemade) As you can see the body is not that original formula, this was a 96 V6 Firebird with a blown engine and then ENTIRE platform from a 95 LT1 T/A was swapped into it. It ran great till it got t-boned as you can see. It still ran fine and drove to where it is now just didn't look very good and pulled to the right. I would start it up about once a month till the fuel pump died on me, now it hasn't been ran in about 8 months. I was going to use it for a project but now I just need it out of my driveway. $800 OBO bring a trailer and its yours. Also as you can see by the damage the title is a salvage title. body would just need fixed then inspected to get a regular title put back on it.

Thanks for looking

hey not to bust your bubble but a salvage title cannot be registered in the state of Florida nor can it be reinspected by DMV to get a regular title. Now a rebuilt title is different, you can register that. Your price is right no matter what the title is though.

my mistake, I got them mixed up then... So this just good for a parts car or "off road use only" aka race car is what your say.

That begs the question, what title do they issue before you get a 'rebuilt title'?

Obviously a salvage title is considered a total loss. This car doesn't seem to qualify for that.

I was told a salvage title is a like in this case a wrecked car that was sold back to the owner by the insurance company and that once its fixed and proof of it being fixed is shown it can be retitled..

not to be an ass but i dont see you getting more than a few hundred for it....tha damage doesnt lok bad but the closer i look it needs quite a bit and from the looks of the hit the frame that the door is mounted to is most likely bent. the frame is right behind the fender and that also looks a bit bent up, bad interior and selling "needs fuel pump" so its not in any type of running shape....definately just a parts car anymore, do you know if its the 4l60e trans?

Any idea what kind of mileage is on the drivetrain?
Also, are you sure it's a bad fuel pump?
