What cop would know better? You could just claim it was a good replica conversion.

 

It is a totally diferent car. It is bigger than a 240sx

Yeah right. That what a kid down here did a year ago. When he got back from the military, brought one from the Phillipines and decided to switch it with a total one that wasn't claim total. He got pull over for speeding and the cop noticed the RHD. The owner mention it that it was conversion, the cop laugh and arrested him being a stolen vehicle. There was no way too prove it was a conversion. And the cop new that in order to be legalized, he needed the proper paperwork. Alot cops down here are aware of this since there are a handful of RHD from Europe that are shipped over here. One example are those old school Aston Martin or mini cooper, (the 80's version). There's a shop in Bradenton that stock over 30 cars in their showroom floor. Pretty cool cars to see in life.
