That Now-dead car site had a lot of bad advice which I refused to follow for Tampa Racing.

As of 21 March 2018, Tampa racing has 102,772 members, over 6 million posts

and over 1,000 new members.

For every critic with bad advice, they have yet to show me their car site which

can claim anywhere near the same numbers.

Bob I don't think you are interpreting the site traffic statistics correctly. By your numbers 1/3 of the population of Tampa is a member of this site. If that was the case the company that owns this site would have a whole team of people administering it.

Checking around the site you have the most traffic in the cars for sale forum and maybe about 2 posts a week from users that are not yourself.

I highly advise creating a new Admin account for yourself and banning and mass deleting your old account posts in one go. That would clean up the site drastically and give you a clean slate to build on top of the old site. I used to be a moderator on this Sites Mazda section, so I don't mind lending you a hand if you actually want to clean the place up.

Tampa Racing has a lot of members that are not in the population of Tampa.
Tampa Racing has a global app and some members of Tampa Racing are in other countries.
Tampa Racing is far more than a "Tampa only" car site.
I don't mind that you see things differently.

If you look in the calendar of events, you will see many postings that are
not "local events". ....It used to be about 1,000 per month......now there are several pages
which can be seen on Tampa Racing's home page......and clicking the event on the home page will take a viewer straight to the posting.

1. You may be looking ONLY at postings and where they come from.
I post for the people who enjoy reading articles and posts on Tampa Racing,
and I refuse to stop posting........that was bad advice from the buttheads when the buttheads who started their own site......no matter how thinly disguised it may reappear as.

As evidence, when that butthead car site stopped posting......their site died....
maybe because people stopped posting.......AND STOPPED READING.......which I believe is a
pretty good definition of a dead site.....although it may fit your definition of
"site cleaning".....maybe the ULTIMATE definition.... LOL

As to what you highly advise....... you need to rethink that a bit.....
It is a short sighted person who believes people only read today's posts.
I refuse to delete posts and deny that post to future Tampa Racing readers.

Tampa Racing has a vast archive of solving car problems, and I refuse to get rid
of another reason that people come to Tampa Racing.
ANY car problem that ever occurred can be looked up for free and the solution is still there.

The idea of deleting the past posts was also bad advice from the buttheads who
started their now-dead car website. When they stopped posting and no one went back to read anything, they saved themselves the trouble of deleting...... LOL

Tampa Racing has always been the most popular car web site in Tampa Bay as well as the state of Florida.
Some people really hate success to the point that sometime back some buttheads left Tampa Racing and started their own (now-dead) car site.

One of those people leaving Tampa Racing had once been an enthusiastic supporter of Tampa Racing, but when he left with some butthead buddies, his butthead friends had some negative things to say about Tampa racing......and killed his sale of Tampa Racing merchandise......not what I call friends...

Those people did not understand that when your site is based on hatred of something else, it's not a good way to build your site up.

We will soon see the attitude of the person selling off his Tampa Racing merchandise,
and whether he does it out of love for a site where he was once a huge fan,......or does he choose to slam TR and people are just buying up shirts at a cheap price.

By the way when someone speaks that there is nothing new on Tampa Racing,
those people have not looked at the hundreds of videos posted in the video thread,
some of which are complete movies....

Plenty of writers come to Tampa Racing when they are doing articles
