The Perfect Car
I'm sure it's been done, but I doubt to this extent. With this layout there is no room for bitching about which platform is better, as all are covered. Price and practicality are also covered.
The Rules:
Choose 2 sets of vehicles (one of each platform)... with one set being something you actually can (or will, realistically) afford and the other being money no object.
My example...
Realistic:
FF
VW GLi 2.0 16v
FR
New Camaro SS
I don't mind saying it... I've been a fan of Camaros ever since "Better Off Dead." For the money... its money.
MR
Ariel Atom
AWD
Tie...
MK4 R32 or MK2 G60 Limited (Dunno which would be cheaper)
MK4 R32
240hp, and the sweet sexy sounds of a VR6
G60 Limited (So limited they only made 70)
210hp, not bad for a 1.8L in 1989
Monopoly Money:
FF
Rickard Rydell's Volvo S40.
0-60 in approx 3.5s, a top speed of about 145mph, and enough lateral g's to rip your face off... sideways.

That S40 was 1998. In '96 Volvo was still using the 850 in BTCC.
