i THINK what he/she is trying to ask is if you lower a car's suspension using airbags will it effect the performance of the car (drag or autox). i don't know the exact answer or reason, but i'm sure it doesn't help any.

Ya I think all air bags does is level out the car or keep it from rubbing.

You should be able to drag / race with airbags as long as you know what PSI your airbags perform the best . Auto-x ing is not recommended for airback because they just have to much give . As far as airbags go you would have to use air cylinders and they give you a stiffer ride opposed to airbags ( like on mini trucks ) . Check you www.airride.com for some specs
