Well one my way home from the Dyno day I noticed that my driver side wheel was squeeking when I turn and when I go into reverse it sounds like it was grinding something . I got home and yanked the wheel off and it looks like the caliper was griding on the rotor . I have more than 2/3 of brakes left . So I grab the rotor and notice the whole thing moves . I can move the hub all around almost like it is loose . Did I burn something up ? CV joint went out ? need some help on this a little so I can attempt to get it fixed
If the axel nut is tight it could be a wheel bearing. Does it make a roaring sound when driving? If so its the wheel bearing.
Bay Area import is a good place to pick one (wheel bearing) up. NAPA on Florida will press the old out and the new one in. I would change both at the same time as you will have to get an alignment when your done.
