This weekend after the oil change I took off my intercooler and associated aluminum pipes for their regular 25k cleaning. Ran acetone thru the pipes and intercooler to clean out the accumulated oil. Then used my shopvac to blow out the acetone after. Intercooler should more effectively transfer heat now.

Heres why. Oil in the intake system aft of the turbo is a normal condition. The engine blow by gasses which can be quite a lot while on boost are vented into the intake upstream of the turbo or in the turbos cast aluminum elbow. So even if turbo bearings never leaked a drop you would have this oil in the intake system. This oil also coats the inside of the IC and reduces its effectiveness.

Other mods:
K&N Cold air ram turbo discharge silencer delete forge bpv chip sport exhaust
