That Tampa Executive Airport got me in some shit a few years back when they were handing out written arrests when we would muster up there... I still ride past and you can see the remanding runway from Trinity Blvd but the new sheriffs station across the street keeps me from wondering back onto there...
Bob, I couldn't remember if I wanted to, The guy who took us up, just randomly ventured out in the area and I happened to see all this. It is in the outskirts of the Disney World area if it helps you.

A few years ago, a few ex-road racers/investors from sarasota was gonna buy that land but the previous owner wouldn't budge on the price. Keep in mind, this was like 2004 where the "housing boom" was full in effect.

Some guy built it as a Go-kart track back in the late 90's-2000's (<--not sure exact dates). I assume he thought he would get a little traffic from the disney area. He went belly up. State purchased the land to expand the Green Swamp Preserve.

what karts are you guys running? there are few tracks in the area. I know they are all oval tracks. I stopped by the abandoned track off of I-4 and old grade rd. that track would be nice. I had to jump a gate to get back there to it. Its got signs up stating that its state hunting property but on the FWC website it dont offer hunting.
