Part numbers

If two different car companies share the same products for example mazda protege and ford escort would their part numbers be the same for the same parts? Just wondering.

I wouldnt assume yes or no....just call either a Ford or Mazda dealer and talk to someone in parts.....they should know.

See the thing is I tried that and the dumbfuck told me they dont just give out part numbers to anybody and he would not tell me the part number.

Hmmmmm well Ill tell ya what.....I have the whole day off tomorrow....tell me what you need.....and I will call the places here....Ill work my mojo with them....and Ill let you know if they tell me what I need to know.

epi.. no they dont. ford/mazda use different SKUs. tell me what you need. i have friends at mazda
