Definitely a surprising finish... definitely a result of the cluster <bleep> on the first lap though. That was crazy!

I'm sure there's some sponsorship/advertising aspect to the decision but Luca is driving so slow for Ferrari I don't see how it makes sense to even have that car in the race? Why not just park it. Are there contracts between the teams and F1 that if they're in the season they have to race? I mean some teams seasons are turning into such a disaster I'd just park the cars and get ready for 2010.

Unrelated, anyone watch the RPM segment before the race start showing redbull's autoclave where they bake the carbon fiber? It's just completely insane how much money goes into F1, last week they shows the 150 redbull staff that work in the computer design area, then they have another 80 people who just work on producing the carbon fiber parts, we haven't even gotten to the rest of the car yet.

Rumor has it Fisi will finish out the season for Ferrari. Reason being constructor's championship, more important for advertising/sponsors, where the currently sit third.

I nearly shat myself when I saw that autoclave. We have one here on campus, but its a 3'x4'x4' box, not a damn submarine sized pressure chamber. I also didn't know they used all pre-preg CF for their parts. I guess it makes sense when time is a factor, I just thought they'd be experimenting with their own secret resin mixes like they do with what they fill their tires with.

I was away for work and watched both of the last two races and qualifying this morning!!! I love DVR....Glad to see all the speculation about Fisi and Kimi at Spa was ALL WRONG.....

Never under estimate Kimi @ Spa.
Great to see Force India do well.
And Vettel is STILL the driver of the future
