Default Scrap Question

So what do you guys do with your scrap parts?

things like catalytic converters, old struts, body parts, etc.

I know there are scrap yards to take things like steel and aluminum and that stuff to but I don't know where, or which ones are better or anything like that.

just wondering what you guys do with your stuff

Automotive Core Supply in Lakeland.
They buy a/c compressors, alternators, starters, blocks, transmissions, etc... for REMAN companies.
They also take scrap.

There is a recycle place in tampa. Forgot the actual address. Used to go there all the time when I worked for my cousins auto shop years ago. Would take cars trucks vans and we would pile them up with all medal scrap. Cut the roof open in vans and pile rear ends, motors etc.. etc.. to get more money for them. They also had an aluminum station, cat station, radiator station etc.. etc.. I used to get between 26-52 dollars per cat. Depending on the size. This was almost 4 years ago. Wish I could remember the actual address.

yeah, thats the kind of place that I'm looking for.
I know they exist, but can't seem to find them.
I called one place over on 66th street but they only seemed to deal with huge amounts of stuff, talking about truck loads at a time.
