Need suggestions/advice
My camber in the rear is screwed up and I need some help deciding which way to go about fixing it.
One choice is with these shim plates. Available in +-1/2 and +-1 degree increments. The price is $89 (seems steep to me).

My other choice is with FocusCentrals tubular rear control arm kit. This offers full camber adjustment as well as losing some more lbs off the ass of my car. Unfortunately you also need to buy the coil-over kit to work with these new control arms. Cost of the control arm kit is $279 and $229 for the coilover kit which uses my existing shocks. Pictured is the drag setup with no provisions for a rear sway bar they offer the traditional setup wtih provisions for the sway bar as well.


The blue pieces shown are the actual units which adjust the camber and the top two pieces are the front kit.
If I were to go with the FocusCentral setup what rate springs would you suggest be optimal for a street car with the occassional auto-x on the weekend? I have coilovers up front and I believe progressive rate in the rear at this moment.

that looks like a really nice kit wish somebody made stuff looking like that and weighing like that for civics youre gonna love less unsprung weight.

When we lowered my Integra.....we could correct the camber in the rear by using metal washers and longer bolts acquired from Home Depot or Lowes....fortunately the camber was miniscule in the rear and so didnt have to use them.....it was worse in the front but still didnt need a camber kit.

if you are not planning on keeping the car long term then go for the quick fix if you plan on keeping her for awhile then the investment in the tubular kit might be worth it.
and robster the rear of any civic can be shimmed out with washers and longer bolts and is a very easy fix. as for the front i would only go with the K-MAC kit or the extreme ingalls kit. both are basicly 2 of the best on the market and well worht the money.

You know me go all out and do it once. I wouldnt bother with the flimsy looking plates as your camber is out 2 degrees anyway. At least with this kit things would be square permantly and you would lose a few pounds in the process.
Can someone help me out with spring rates? I have no clue which would be appropriate for the rear. No matter what I cannot continue using my FK rear springs since they rely on the spring perches which are absent on the FocusCentral control arms. Im trying to get my bud over in Germany to talk to FK about what rates they would recommend to compliment their front coil-overs but Im having a hard time describing my problem in a way he can understand (slight language barrier issues).

Ok. I finally contacted one of the techs at FocusCentral. He suggests a 175lb rate for the rear springs. Does this sound right? I really have no clue sounds rather soft to me but what do I know.
