Yea the ZR-1 is a freakin' supercar, and it wont even beat the V-Spec in the 'ring, which I guess if you HAD to say it was a supercar, would be Nissan's.

you cant tell that to the other nut swingers. and who is not to say that the zr1 is just a car to one-up the gtr. i really love this battle.

 

yeah, I always read that the gtr was supposed to beat the z06, which it did. Then they came out with a car that is like 40k+ more and bragged about beating them? Im not downing any of the cars as I would own any of them in a heart beat. Just want to give credit where its due. I think the viper wins, hands down. Then zr1 (which I would compare more to the viper), then the gtr, then the z06 (which I would compare to the gtr)

 

Why is everyone talking about the GT-R and the ZR-1 like they're some basic car. These are highly modified and suped up cars and they both are forced induction. Slap a blower or turbo system on to a Viper and watch it desimate anything in its way. Dont get me wrong both the GT-R and ZR1 are highnle impressive but they both were built to compete with cars like the ACR Viper. The Viper is the biggest bang for the buck hands down. That car is still a stock car pretty much. Throw all the mods to it like everyone does to everything else out there and you will have the baddest thing on four wheels. By mods I mean crank, rods, cam, heads, exhaust, forced induction, etc, and there will be nothing that you can legally drive on the road to stand next to you.

 

power is nothing without control. the viper is a torque monster. pushing ur right foot in a turn and having boost kick in with a 8.3L won't make u go through the turn any faster. now if u are talking about high speed roll ons( which requires 2.6 brain cells of human talent) then yeah.

 

that had to be one of the stupidest comments I've seen...


^and depending the on the RPM's and shit, the boost could already be kicked in and ready to go by the time you a 1/4 way through the turn.

 

I don't know if you're serious or not but it's funny no matter.

With the exception of a racing seat and 5-points the ACR was bone stock.

 

vspec gtr wont come near those times
