Default De-Rusting Headers?

I have a set of headers that have a decent layer of rust on the inside and was wondering if there were a way of taking this off. I was thinking something like a rotary wire brush attached to a plumbers' snake, but didn't know if this was ever used. Anyways, let me know if there's any shops that might do that kind of thing. Already called Eisele's, they said their hot bath does nothing for rust.

This method works really well. Just use a good stainless rod to help conductivity.

For best results don't submerge you battery connectors. Use a peice of good wire and keep them out of the solution. You should see a decent amount of bubbles. If you don't check your connections.
When your done take the parts and power wash them to get the left over crap off them before painting or coating.

This is a pretty old hot rodders trick that works pretty well. Electrolysis (in case you didn't bother with the link)

Awesome. I'll give that a try! Buying a new set isn't an option, since they were custom made for about $1500.

Rep to Plazma for being smarter than the average bear... It's this kind of next level thinking that I love to see on here. Great post!
