Alrite I am watching the show pass time on speed and they had this kid w/ a 07 GT and he said it was a 07 GT w/ a 4.7 with exhaust and intake...
wtf? correct me if i am wrong but isent it a 4.6?

Well I don't how much u want but there was a guy on there with an Evo that said he was runnin a stock bottom end on 30psi.
He rolls up to do his burn out or a lil launch since he's awd and breaks that bitch! Dead on the track. Had to push it off!

yeah, he could have fucked it up running nitrous and tore up a cyl or some retarded shit because he's a retard and bored it over as opposed to getting a new block. Or maybe he was planning to turbo it, and got new pistons and figured hell, if im doing this anyway i might as well bore it over for a little extra power. I mean i would have, shit .30 aint a hole lot but its a bit extra displacement.

.020" over is about the safe limit for an overbore for a 4.6 I believe it works out to be about 283 ci vs the stock 281. this is not done for the increase in displacement, the gain from that is negligable. the benefit comes from unshrouding the valves, by making them further away from the walls of the cylinder
