interior work

Default interior work

does anyone know of any good shops to have the cloth on my doorpanels reapplied? I own a 2002 Ford Escape XLT.

why do u need them redone??? are they falling off? just really dirty wat?

they are falling off. my family has used the car really heavily and have used some strong chemicals to clean it. the chemicals have destickyfied the cloth on the doorpanel.

The shop will peel it off, spray-can some glue on it and put down new fabric. You can do that yourself and put the money in the gas tank.-Bob

You can use the original fabric if you are careful. Or you can buy new fabric at the dealers, so you don't pay my markup,and bring the car to me for labor.

its not spray can glue its contact cement in a special sprayer and if you do it like hes saying it will just come off again in a few weeks/months from the heat

As for the "Spray in Cans" its a temporary fix you need special contact cement thats only sold from a Company we deal with the dont sell to the public

Let me amend what I said. The shops buy it cheaper in bulk and apply it in a special sprayer, as he says, since they don't have a small quantity.
and bulk does not have a spray can.

Dude, Take a visit to Home Depot and read the labels on their 3M spray can adhesive and decide for your self..................if drug into court on this, I can produce a few things I have used 3M canned spray on, and
they are not coming apart. 3M is 3M to most people whether in bulk or
a spray can.-Bob
