Default Street Legal Golf Cart, with a V8?In St. Pete.

I was riding back from St. Pete area yesterday, and going in the opposite direction..I saw a Golf Cart,in traffic..Hauling ass. ..It looked like it was definitely widened, and stretched..Also sounded like a beefy V8 in it,had a couple of older classics following behind it,and it was silver.Does anyone have any info/pics of this thing?

I know someone who can make a stock-appearing, wheel-standing golf cart with Yamaha power........and has done so as a stunt car.
About 10K or so.........-Bob

Are you sure it was a golf cart and not a sand rail/buggy? When I lived in AZ I used to see lots of crazy shit that people would take out to the sand dunes. I saw a sand rail with a V8 Northstar engine and NOS and it sat five people. So badass.....

No, I know what the OP is talking about. Here in Lakeland they take suzuki samuri frames and put golf cart bodies on them. Also where in AZ did you live, I used to live in sierra vista.
