drove a smart car
One of those micro european cars. Looked like this.
Powered by a 1.0 liter 3 banger(yeah thats right.) 71hp 69 ft/tq. Rear drive, rear engine. Seats 2 comfortably. Top speed around 90mph. Its about 9' in length and 5' 1" in height and 5' 1" in width. It's as long as a parking spot is wide. Turing radius is 20'
Does 0-60mph in about 9 sec. Its a neat little car and will sell in the states starting at $13g's come early '08. Gets over 40mpg. Its buzzy, a bit wonky and clumsy. The shifts were slow, and it sounds like a cas powered golf cart. But it handles well, and it is fun to drive. Its cooler than I thought it was going to be. I wouldn't buy one, but if I had to drive one, I would certainly invest in some dark window tint.

They were offering a chance to drive one this weekend. I shot a story about it and it'll be on WFLA's "Daytime" in about 2 weeks.

well i mean roof racks, and im sure you could fit gear for two... but even then rwd on ice/snow=death
but yeah anything else its gonna be a tight fit.
I would definitely buy one if i was commuting to tampa or something from the northern counties like citrus or hernando.

isnt it made by mercedes ..and it is being out in europe and asia for almost 10 years...isnt it..i have seen one of this at carrollwood area..the owner told me that he imported it from france.and the exterior color can be changed in 20 mins..sold as accessories.

Gas will have to be at least over 8 dollars a gallon before I'll even consider one.
