One foot or Two?

I started racing Bombers at desoto when I was 13, Open wheel modifieds by 15. Hence I never "learned" to drive with one foot. It feels retarded as fuck.:mullet:

Ive known most real racers only drive with 2 feet. What about chu? And please dont say yes to jump on the Bi-Pedal bandwagon...

I drive one footed, unless heel toeing but always have my hand on the shifter.

Only if I'm trying to get a jump on somebody at a light. ;-)

..of all the racing people I've known in my life..drag racers, oval track racers..they all drive with one foot w/ an auto.

Since I am so used to driving manual cars, when I DO drive an auto, I almost always try to start the car by putting my left foot on the brake.

But after that I usually remember it's auto, and I drive with 1 foot. Racing an auto car would be a different story of course to get the best out of braking speeds and such.

after driving stick all day and i drive an auto, i drive it with 2 feet. when i go to slow down when driving manual i let in the clutch, i tried to do the same in the auto by accident, and scared the shit out of my GF.. lol (the front bumper almost touched the ground.haha)

I have a clutch pedal-less (not clutchless!) manual car and fortunately this allows me to drive with both feet on and off the track. Dedicated left foot braking is spoiling me -- I need to buy a track-only car and it surely won't have the sequential manual gearbox my M3 has.

Heel n toe is the only way you're gonna get the most out of a road car.

Ovals are a different story. You're not downshifting 20 times a lap on an oval.
